One of the beautiful things about the Nutcracker!Magical Christmas Ballet is that all dancers who audition are cast in a role.  During the audition the Nutcracker Audition Director selects what roles the auditioning dancers will be offered.  There is easy ample parking right at the door and a comfortable waiting area for parents.

Auditions and rehearsals will be at 52 S Quinsigamond Ave, Shrewsbury, MA  01545.

Auditions are October 9 at 4pm with first rehearsal on the 10th with the Nutcracker Audition Director.  We feel that this is late (later than last year).  So we have opened audition rehearsals beginning Saturday September 21st from 4pm - 6pm to give ALL attending dancers the opportunity of learning variations/group dances ahead of time to enable each dancer a better chance of roles at the main casting audition.

Once cast, rehearsals for groups are from 4 - 6pm each Saturday.
 

Solo Variations rehearsals  are 6 - 7:30pm.  However, depending on the specific variation a dancer is selected for, we are open to a week day afternoon for individual variations to rehearse.  This is something which can be discussed and arranged after the October 9 audition.  Each student receives a rehearsal link to their role which we ask them to study.  As I have taught this particular Nutcracker for a number of years now, the training of the roles is smooth.  Danceartists rehearsal studio is equipped with large video screens which also aid in the speed of students mastering the choreography.
 

This beautiful performance opportunity is open to all dancers from everywhere in the dance community and over the past 7 years we have found it to be a brilliant positive learning experience for all the dancers.  Because it is about the dance community the only cost to parents is the $75.00 payable to Nutcracker.com which covers all costumes excluding shoes, tights and under costume leotard.

Rehearsal fees $50.00 for all rehearsals associated with Nutcracker.com
